Sales Representative

We currently have openings for entry-level government Account Representatives.

Account Representatives are focused on identifying, qualifying and closing federal, state and local government opportunities. You will be responsible for relationship development, proposal writing, and new business development. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with a business-related degree and some marketing or business internship experience.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned accounts to maximize sales potential
  • Build strong relationships to achieve client goals
  • Build strong relationships with team mates and partners to achieve win/win results toward common goal
  • Generate leads, qualify opportunities, and forecast pipeline
  • Responsible for set revenue expectations and achievements

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proven track record of responsibility and dependability

Sales Account Executive

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for building relationships in person and selling professional services and technology solutions to customers. This will be measured by performance against goals, and the professional reputation earned with our customers, and partners.

Overall Responsibilities: 

  • Create sales plans and activity that drive monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
  • Maintain a growing pipeline of well qualified opportunities
  • Manage and provide updates on pipeline opportunities, progress and issues
  • Drive profitably and grow revenue for target accounts in partnership with inside sales team and manufacture partners. 
  • Develop partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the territory
  • Build market awareness of KTS through participation in industry events, organizations and affiliations
  • Develop product knowledge and sales skills by participation in ongoing product and skill training opportunities provided by Vendor partners.
  • Develop solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account 
  • Understand each target customer’s business model, map their organization and identify their unique technology needs
  • Identify new accounts and introduce the KTS value proposition to key decision makers within the account 
  • Work with Sales Managers and develop relationships with service partners within the territory
  • Provide consistent and timely follow up communication and action steps after every sales call 
  • Collaborate on sales strategies with inside Account Managers, and Leadership Team sharing account trend and changes
  • Coordinate quotes and proposals in-line with company process

 Desired Qualifications & Experience: 

  •  3+ years successful experience in technology and/or services sales to Federal Government  
  • Prior experience selling complex technical solutions and services
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, customers and vendor partners
  • Ability to target, establish and expand trusted relationships within the client organization 
  • Exercise or display creativity and ingenuity to win business 
  • BA/BS's Degree
