Churchton, MD (September 16, 2024) – Knot Technology Solutions (KTS) is proud to announce that it has achieved certification as an 8 (a) small business.  An 8(a) certification lasts 9 years and was established to enable federal contracting officers to provide set-aside and sole source contracts.  The government's goal is to award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars toward small, disadvantaged businesses. 

Churchton, MD – June 30, 2023 - Knot Technology Solutions (KTS), announces that it has KTS attained a Level 1 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and has executed the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Defense Industrial Base (DIB) cybersecurity services. CMMC is a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program that applies to Defense Industrial Base (DIB) contractors. It is a unifying standard and new certification model to ensure that DoD contractors properly protect sensitive information. This confirms that KTS is compliant with the mandatory information security requirements and the necessary cybersecurity controls in place to protect sensitive data and systems. These controls help in minimizing the risk of cyber threats, data breaches and unauthorized access enabling us to safeguard KTS’s critical assets and contributing to our overall resilience in today’s digital landscape. 

Churchton, MD – September 9, 2022 – Knot Technology Solutions (KTS), federal information technology (IT) solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded an RFID Solutions Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  The FBI BPA is a single award, five (5)  year contract with an estimated value of $4.5 million.  The performance period of this BPA will be a 12-month base period, and four 12 month option periods.  

Under the new contract, KTS along with our partner RFID Global Solution, will provide professional services, associated support, and supplies relating to the installation, integration and support of FBI’s Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) system. This will allow the FBI to physically account for more than 4 million DNA samples at the Federal DNA Database Unit Laboratory as well improve inventory and trackability procedures for the weapons within the Firearms/Toolmarks Unit.

Churchton, MD - April 20, 2021 -   Knot Technology Solutions (KTS) announces we have been added as a reseller on NY State OGS  Information Technology Umbrella Contract (Manufacturer Based -Statewide) supporting our partner, Getac.  KTS is proud to be awarded this contract with our NYS certification as a Minority and/or Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE).   Getac offers rugged computing product lines of all sizes including rugged notebooks, rugged tablets, rugged handheld for military, police, fire, utility, healthcare, insurance, automotive maintenance, and field-service customers. 

Churchton, MD – September 3, 2020 - Knot Technology Solutions (KTS), announces our success as a teaming partner on the newly awarded Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2) contract.  This contract was awarded by The Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) office, in coordination with Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI), to 31 bidders.  ITES-SW2 is a 5 year, $13 billion firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract vehicle to support the Army’s enterprise information technology (IT) infrastructure and info-structure goals, by leveraging commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products and maintenance in 14 product categories, in addition to related incidental services and hardware. KTS is proud to be able to provide key manufacturers products and support to multiple contract award winning companies as they work to support the Army and their mission.

Churchton, MD – November 5, 2019 - Knot Technology Solutions (KTS), announces that it has been selected as an awardee of the GSA’s 2nd Generation Information Technology Blanket Purchase Agreements (2GIT BPA) to provide IT Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware, software and services to all levels of government. The 2GIT BPAs replace the Air Force’s expiring NETCENTS-2 IT products contracts, which the service awarded in 2015 and could be worth $5.5 billion over five years.

The BPAs consists of five distinct IT line item categories:

· Data Center — servers, storage, network and compute/store commercial off-the-shelf software

· End User— laptops, desktops, accessories and other products.

· Network — routers, switchers, wireless, video teleconference products and more.

· Radio Equipment—handhelds, trucking systems, vehicle units and more.

· Order Level Material (OLM)—this is an unpriced line item where the agency customer can buy services and products together as long as the services don’t cost more than one-third of the total price of the contract.

The BPAs will enable the addition of new, innovative, and emerging IT products through GSA’s FASt Lane modification process. KTS is proud to have been selected as a WOSB/EDWOSB business as one of the contract awarded companies.

Under the new contract, KTS along with our partner RFID Global Solution, will provide professional services, associated support, and supplies relating to the installation, integration and support of SSA’s Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) system. This will allow SSA to physically account for Information Technology (IT) assets in three geographically dispersed data centers and other SSA facilities.
